McDonald’s opened its first restaurant in Lebanon on September 18th 1998. Today, there are 24 restaurants employing hundreds of Lebanese throughout the country.

As leaders in the food service industry, we are proud to have introduced in Lebanon the largest global food service retailer and the world’s best quick service restaurant.

Miknas Food SAL – Trading as McDonald’s Lebanon is owned and operated by Miknas Food – Mr. Akram Miknas, Chairman of the Board and Mr. Karim Miknas, Managing Director.

McDonald’s participates in the growth and development of the Lebanese economy by actively coaching and helping Lebanese suppliers to implement internationally renowned programs.

At McDonald’s Lebanon we believe that giving back to our community is one of our most essential roles. Every year McDonald’s sponsors social activities, fundraising events and hosts lunches for thousands of orphans and children in need from across Lebanon.
McDonald’s Lebanon also supports other NGOs and charities in their humanitarian missions on a regular basis such as Children Cancer Center of Lebanon “CCCL”, the Red Cross and Al Younbouh.
The Chief of Happiness, Ronald McDonald, also pay regular visits to the schools and hospitals to amuse and draw a smile on every face with fun games and play.
